About Special Ed Advocate

A special education advocate provides guidance to parents, students, and professionals to help ensure a child’s success in school and beyond.

Before a child can receive special education services, the school district must follow a process required by state and federal regulations, including seeking parent input. To participate fully, parents need to understand the procedural steps and the information gathered about their child.

This process can feel overwhelming, but I have the expertise to support parents through every stage of special education. With clear information and essential knowledge, parents are better prepared to express concerns, offer suggestions, and make informed decisions.  SEA is proud to have knowledgeable, educated, and experienced consultants serving families of Massachusetts for over 25 years.
